Who was Constantin?
Constantine Adult Day Centre is a living tribute to the remarkable life of my father, Constantin. His journey was marked by unwavering strength and courage, facing both disability in his 40s and a later battle with dementia in his 70s.
Constantin’s physical struggles were profound, transforming daily activities into daunting challenges. Walking became a battle, eating a test of endurance, and speaking a laborious effort. Despite the pain etched on his face, he refused to complain, choosing instead to face each day with quiet determination.
His enduring spirit, despite the frustrations and health setbacks, inspired the creation of this center. Constantine stands not only as a haven for companionship, laughter, and support but as a living memorial to Constantin’s indomitable legacy.
